Hot

All across the country, with only a few small regions spared, we are experiencing withering heat, sooner than most of us expect it. Very early morning, just before and for a brief interval after sunrise, is the only time when it's comfortable outdoors right now in Lancaster county, and this morning I missed my opportunity. I did this drawing of a derelict farm on the edge of Marietta from the dusty gravel parking lot of the used Subaru dealership out on River Road while it was still bearable to sit in the blazing sun.
