Contrasts
Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 11:29PM Long days, hour after hour focused on this screen and keyboard, creating examples of Glasgow cabinetry in virtual space. Less than three weeks to print deadline and every image has to be as compelling as I can make it with my rudimentary computer rendering skills. Only when I can't do it any more do I get to take up a sketchbook and pencils, and my patience is spent, but I need to draw if only to distract myself even if only from the anxiety of being too much inside of my head.
a short morning break waiting for computers to complete renderings

day's end with a Rad Davis squashed apple sandblast, reading an essay on American craft woodworking between world wars.
